Process
Mentlnomad originated under the moniker Reqwium, a brand conceived during my tenure in design school. Initially inspired by my personal narrative of relocating from New Jersey to the West, symbolizing a fresh chapter, the brand underwent a transformation from its roots in design academia.
Post-college, Reqwium evolved into a lifestyle apparel company catering to the skate/snowboard culture. However, as both an artist and an individual, I sought a brand identity that could seamlessly grow alongside my personal development. This pivotal moment led to the rebranding of the entity as Mentlnomad—an alter ego distinct from my professional persona as a Product Designer. This strategic shift reflects a deliberate evolution aligning with my artistic and personal maturation.
